Helen is the current ladies race captain and is a recognised and passionate competitor in both road and mountain biking events. She was chosen to represent South Africa at the world MTB XC Masters in 2008, but graciously declined the invitation for lack of experience. A partner in an upstart Internet broadcasting business, Helen has the freedom to train and race at will. She does however, still feel guilty when sneaking in to the office at 11am. Her goal for 2008/2009 is to ensure that the ladies team becomes the benchmark for other clubs in South Africa and to get as many riders to races as possible.

James Louter, Track Commissioner
|
James is an ex-pro who now works as an Account Manager for Dimension Data. He’s been riding and racing for 17 years of his 30 years on planet earth. Sharing the focus between and track and road disciplines. Success was gained in both disciplines with Continental, National and Provincial medals, setting the odd record or two on the track with road at one time providing the roof over his head and food on the table. James also spent time working as a mechanic for the big European pro teams such as CSC and Barloworld to name a few. His passion for the sport and in particular track riding is without doubt which he wants to infectiously spread around at every opportunity. “If track was any more fun it would be illegal!”
