Our racing teams are supported, together with the Racing Commission, structured as follows:
Chairman (Charles Pritchard)
The Chairman’s primary objectives are to:
- Acquire budget for racing teams
- Appointing race captains and assisting captains with appointment of teams
- Support teams that have no suitable captain
- Assist riders in reaching their objectives by facilitating training programmes
- Give riders and teams recognition through the club newsletter and annual prize giving
Race Commission Support (Helen Squirrell)
Support roles and responsibilities include:
- Appointing and assisting team managers with their responsibilities
- Assisting with team manager support where managers are not appointed
- Financial reporting
Team Captain Responsibilities
- Rider recruitment and performance
- Team performance
- Race Strategy
- Weekly communicating of results to teams and the the race commission for publishing purposes
Team Managers Responsibilities
- Administrative support
- Follow vehicle support and logistics
- Number collection and delivery
