The Club100 cycling club was formed more than 30 years ago and although cycling continues to grow, we have seen a huge growth in members participating in tri & duathlon events both nationally and internationally.  Naturally we wanted to be able to accommodate our members in all areas and in October 2016 Club100 Triathlon was launched when Isuzu Truck South Africa, the official vehicle partner for Ironman South Africa, announced their partnership with Club100.

Special training session, including  group swims, cycle & runs, will be planned from time to time and will be advertised in the weekly newsletter.

Club100 Coaching and Training
The aim  is to guide beginners, intermediate and advanced triathletes through structured workouts to maximize their time, with weekly interaction and feedback so that adaption to the overall plan can achieve the greatest benefits for the individual.

Training plans are uploaded on the Trainingpeaks platform with weekly mentoring and feedback of how the past week was and whether adjustments or updates need to be made to the plan for the coming week.  As a triathlete you can register a free Trainingpeaks account and request the Club100 coach as your coach to receive your individualized training plan which you can also view via the Trainingpeaks app on your smart phone for ease of access.

We currently offer the following plans
Olympic Distance - Beginner - 8 weeks
70.3 Distance - Beginner - 16 weeks
70.3 Distance - Intermediate - 12 weeks
70.3 Distance - Advanced Speed work - 12 weeks
140.6 Build - Intermediate - 12 weeks
140.6 Distance - Intermediate - 12 weeks
Half Marathon - Beginner - 16 weeks
Half Marathon - Intermediate - 16 weeks
Sub 1:30 hr Half Marathon - 10 weeks
Marathon - Beginner - 19 weeks
Marathon - Intermediate - 12 weeks

Triathlon Plans
Individualized and personal training plans cost R600 per month. 
Group training plans with a weekly update and feedback cost R450 per month.

Running Plans
Individualized and personal training plans cost R350 per month.
 If you just want to buy a standard plan and do your own thing R500.

Swim Stroke Analysis
Once a month a stroke analysis class will be held to help improve technique, contact to book with our specialist swim coaches

Group Training Days
Club100 has set training days where group training activities will be undertaken and increase group camaraderie and interaction 
Tuesday 6:00pm St Stithians College - Track Session - Aim to improve your VO2, running  speed and musccle strength
Saturday 6:30am - Club ride
Sunday 6:30am Lion and Rhino Park, Cradle - Long Run - Group run at your own pace, bring own water and nutrition
Sunday 10:00am Cradle Moon - Open Water Swim - In summer and after the long run there will be an open water swim session.  The aim of the session is to get comfortable and confident in open water.  Swim pace is to be relaxed and easy, focusing on technique and form rather than speed.
