LAST LONG RIDE of 2016!!!! – SUNDAY 27 NOVEMBER
NASH RESERVE – CRADLE OF HUMANKIND!!!!
 THIS IS AS GOOD AS IT GETS


You have been waiting for 12 months for this ride – now the time has arrived. The Nash family has once again given Club 100 exclusive access to this fantastic World Heritage property. This is the home to the Australopithecus Sediba and right next to the latest discovery of the Homo Naledi. We are not permitted to pick up any hominid bones during the ride. If you do see something worthwhile we will report it to the higher authorities.

    
 

1.  WHO CAN PARTICIPATE & TIME

Due to the popularity of this ride we prefer that we give this privilege to Club 100 members. If you want to bring a guest and there is the possibility that this guest will join the Club next year they are welcome. The cost for a guest riding (including the brunch) will be R150. It is your responsibility to see that your guest pays into the Club 100 account, as follows:

We will meet at Kenjara and start riding from the restaurant at 06h00. You must be there by 05h45.
The terrain we are going to ride on does not really cater for the beginner. You should be able to complete races such as Sani2C/B&B reasonably easy. The ride will be ±4 hours long.
 
Club members who are not fit enough for the Nash farm ride can also park at Kenjara, do the single track Crater ride at your own leisure and then join the Club for brunch at Kenjara.

2. GENERAL

Bring a change of clothing if required. Kenjara has limited shower facilities available, but some of us do shower after the ride.
 
We will have back-up  at the Nash Pool where we will have sandwiches and drinks at the pool. We should be at this break after about 2 hours riding in the Reserve. Bring your normal eats and drinks on the bike for a long ride.

3.  BRUNCH

We will have brunch (on the Club expense) at Kenjara at ±11h30. Spouses/girl & boyfriends and children are welcome If you notify us of the numbers. Brunch will be a typical breakfast with juice and coffee. All other drinks will be at the cash bar.
 
4.  HOW TO CONFIRM /PARTICIPATE

To confirm send your confirmation to thys.neser@abland.co.za and note the following in your reply:
 
-  Name
-  Attending /not attending brunch at Kenjara
-  Any family friends attending & their numbers
-  Non Club 100 members’ confirmation of payment into Club banking account

5.  KENJARA LODGE – http://www.kenjara.co.za (See detail for maps etc)

Kenjara Lodge will host the brunch after the ride. You are welcome to park your vehicle at the Lodge. Kenjara is on the east of the Rhino/Lion Farm in the Cradle. The Lodge turn in is about 500m on the south after the circle on the way to Kloofzicht.
