MTB Tour de Sabie 2018

Get ready for this extremely exclusive ride. Our 11th annual Club 100 MTB tour will this year be known as “TOUR de SABIE”.  We have had tours to the Southern Cape, Waterval Boven, Rooiberg, Spioenkop, Swaziland, Daskop and Sabie.  This year’s tour will again be in Sabie due to popular demand.

We will again cater for 16 riders but will again make provision for partners (non-riders ) to accompany.  The tour is at cost and no surplus is budgeted for.

The cost of the tour will be an affordable R4800 which includes the 4 day’s rides and the necessary permits, accommodation (three nights), food and drinks as well as guides and back up. We use our own transport and closer to the time we try to organise sharing the ride to the venue if required. It has always been good value for money.

  1. This is NOT a tour for beginners.
  2. All members of standing are once again welcome and we have space for other Club members who have not attended before.
  3. If we have space we allow non Club 100 members but only by nomination and after all avenues to bring C100 newbies into the fold.
  4. You should be able to ride for at least 5 hours on MTB
  5. Average distance will be between 60 – 70km per day at an acceptable pace, usually taking 4-5 hours. This is a tour and the focus is on the fun and the adventure of exploring and riding in new places –and for us it is not a race but you do need to have certain level of fitness and skill.
  6. You should be able to complete the typical Sunday ride with the Club with relative ease.

The club 100 tours are for great riding and even greater feasting, don’t miss out.
